Thank you. Well-said and point well made. I’ve often said that free verse especially is abused. People write stream of consciousness for 10 minutes, enjamb at arbitrary places, and then call it poetry.

One could do that with the ingredients on a bottle of ketchup. It doesn’t make it poetry…
