Thank you. Great insight.

A small point of contention for me is with introductions and conclusions. To provide too much context seems like explaining the punchline to a joke — it falls flat and takes away from the piece.

Part of the joy of reading poetry is trying to read between the lines, run down the unusual metaphor, to think through what is left unsaid.
