Thank you! I began college as a theatre major. In high school I read poetry competitively ("Poetry Interp" Texas UIL competitions). As an adult, I began to engage in oral storytelling.

What a wonderful return to the importance of orality.

I was never more thrilled to see "spoken word" catch on in the culture.

Poetry is not only meant to grace a page, it is meant to be *heard*!
