Strange. Not much of a revelation to Christianity—especially Eastern Orthodox or Catholic Christianity. That sacred songs and psalms outside of the biblical canon would be discovered is not surprising or unusual to many Christians. The Dead Sea Scrolls is old news and the LXX (Septuagint) is no news at all.

I assume when you say “Christianity”, you are referring to the very small segment known as American Evangelicalism, which hardly counts as the majority of believers globally.
