I really do appreciate your writing--even though a lot of my comments point out where I disagree with you. I'm glad you don't take it personally!
I also get that titles are important to get someone to read post (Hey, it worked).
But technically these aren't actual Christian heresies--like suggesting that Jesus wasn't really God or that God didn't become flesh.
Most of these views would not have gotten you burned at the stake. They are the views of many fundamentalist and evangelical churches (Johnny-come-latelys in the history of Christianity). But I serioiusly doubt any of the patristic fathers would have labled you a heretic, nor would the dessert fathers. (E.g., many of the early church fathers believed it was inappropriate to read Genesis 1 literally).
Certainly, many of these views are not problematic for Eastern Orthodox Christianity.
So, you probably wouldn't have been smelling of burnt clothing in the early years...
